Job Description
Reporting directly to the EMEAC Medical Modernization (MM) Lead, the Associate Director Medical Modernization is responsible for helping to develop and implement new innovative tools and capabilities for the Value and Implementation (V&I) organization, focusing specifically on helping to transform scientific engagement within the country and region by implementing an omnichannel strategy for scientific leader (SL) engagement, aligned with local rules and regulations.
The Associate Director Medical Modernization will work closely with cross-functional teams, including local country teams and colleagues from the Global Medical Value Capabilities Hub, Analytics Center of Excellence, V&I Therapeutic Areas (TA), IT, Legal, and Compliance, to help develop and implement new channels for medical communications and new tools to enhance field medical/medical advisor SL engagement capabilities, and also ensure to cover local gaps and opportunities.
The Associate Director Medical Modernization will help coordinate a MM network in the EMEAC region, enabling bidirectional communication, sharing and scaling of best practices, and modernizing the way medical teams work in the region. Lastly, the Associate Director Medical Modernization will be critical in our change management efforts by communicating and supporting new ways of working, and inspiring others to adopt innovative ways of working as we shape and transform our V&I engagement strategy.

Required Experience and Skills:
Proven ability to develop and implement technical strategies for delivering scientific content across digital platforms;Knowledge and understanding of relevant local pharmaceutical laws and regulations;Experience leveraging emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, digital health platforms, and advanced analytics to drive innovation in medical affairs;Proven ability to work cross-functionally with the ability to influence and lead change while building strong alignment and partnerships;Strong compliance IQ and familiarity with regulations and standards for health care provider engagements and corresponding international pharmaceutical codes;Strong project management skills with intellectual curiosity and the ability to execute and lead complex strategic and operational initiatives in matrix structures;Well-organized, focused on results, capable of managing multiple projects with respect to priorities and charting a course for others;Innovative thinker, entrepreneurial spirit, ability to identify and develop novel approaches to tackle daily tasks;Self-driven, proactive with the ability to deliver as a team leader, team member and individual contributor;Strong communication and presentation skills;Currently based in Italy; no relocation offered.Current Employees apply HERE
