Associate Director, Network Automation Lead

Role Overview

You will be working in network and collaboration services team, helping to manage a global communications network through tooling, automation, S W development and data management.

Learn and improve company’s processes related to network management and seek opportunities to build automated solutionsDevelop automation solutions for network managementDevelop automation solutions for self-service of network servicesDevelop, maintain & support Ansible playbooksDevelop, maintain & support automation solutions built in AWSDevelop efficient ways to deploy & run automation solutionsParticipate in network automation community of practiceBecome a point of contact for existing and new network toolsDrive improvements in the processes around selected network toolsManage data quality for selected toolsDesign and maintain the configuration of selected tools based on business demandParticipate in evaluating new toolsCooperate closely with network designers and network operationsApply good development and documentation practices

What should you have

Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any Technology stream.Experience: 11+ yrsSkilled in designing solutions that address complex integration challenges while considering scalability, security, performance, and maintainabilitySolid understanding of IP-based communication networks (on the level of CCNA)Understanding of network management and network operations.

Experience in one or more of the following areas is a must:

Solid understanding of Ansible and real-world experience in developing Ansible playbooks to manage network infrastructureAt least an intermediate experience in PythonSolid understanding of AWS offerings and how they can be used in solution designStrong willingness to keep learning new technologiesAble to establish good working relationships globally and collaborate with networks of employees at all levels.

Software (S W) developmentProgrammingS W versioning using GitCI / CD toolingDatabase design and usage, SQLAWS: IAM, API G W, Lambda, Storage

Intermediate knowledge:

Network designConfiguring network devices (for example Cisco)AnsiblePythonData management, data science or data engineeringNon-sql databasesPreferred certifications: CCNA and higher, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer Associate

Strong written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate with both technical and business audiences
