Overview The Associate Director will collaborate closely with Field Access Manager, Key Account Director, and the Medical Outcome Liaison Teams to understand access opportunities and effectively communicate product information. In addition, the Associate Director will develop market access materials for launch, including the value proposition presentation and pull-through materials for the field access team. Reporting to the Sr. Director, HCP and Payer Marketing, the Associate Director, US Payer Marketing will work closely with Market Access Colleagues (Payer, Patient Services), as well as US Marketing, Medical Affairs, HEOR, and Commercial Effectiveness to ensure alignment. Solid execution skills, collaboration, communication, clinical understanding, and vendor management are essential for this role. Responsibilities ResponsibilitiesWork alongside the Senior Director, HCP & Payer Marketing to develop US Payer Marketing strategies and shape the product value story for payersDeliver approved payer resources to the Key Account Director Team to communicate disease information and product value story, and improve the quality of their interactions with customersWork proactively and collaboratively with both the Key Account Director Team and Medical Outcome Liaison Team to understand needs and opportunities across payer landscape and individual customers (as needed)Lead / co-lead payer research and feedback forums to assess US payer reactions to disease and product value messages and address evidence gaps in coordination with HEOR teamsPartner with FAM (field access manager), Trade and Patient Services Teams to ensure understanding of payer coverage and approval process and develop resources to support these teams with essential tools and supportCollaborate with Brand team and Medical Affairs teams to ensure alignment with disease and product messagingCollaborate with CRC (Legal, Regulatory, Medical) to ensure resources are appropriately vettedQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in related field; MBA preferred2+ years of experience in payer marketing and/or payer customer engagement experienceUnderstanding of US market access environment, including payer landscape, role of PBMs and medical and pharmacy coverage policies across Commercial and Government books of businessAbility to translate clinical data into value or economic messagesStrong understanding of Health Economics and Real-World Data/EvidenceStrategic planning and execution skills including positioning, value story development, project management, and working with agencies and vendorsFamiliarity with pharmaceutical channel dynamics, including distribution and specialty pharmacyProficiency in designing and executing field access tactics and resourcesAbility to lead and influence without authority cross-functionallyExcellent learning capability and aspiration for excellencePosition is based in Bridgewater, NJ with the opportunity for hybrid work.Travel RequirementsTravel required of approximately 20% Salary Range $139,000 - $195,200 a year Compensation & Benefits
