We are seeking an experienced and dynamic candidate to lead and drive the development of our product pipeline and our Consumer Health care capabilities. This role is crucial in ensuring that our product portfolio evolves strategically, and that we build & continuously improve our team's capabilities within the Consumer Health Care Business Model to meet future product demands. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills, strategic vision, and a deep understanding of product development processes and core CHC capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Pipeline Management: Lead the identification, development, and management of a robust product pipeline that aligns with the company's strategic goals and market opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BD, R&D , M&A ) to expand product portfolio & (Marketing & Sales) to ensure the successful planning of Launch stages, Go to Market & Product KPI’s Prioritize product initiatives based on market analysis, customer needs, and resource availability. Capability Building: Assess the current skill sets, processes, and tools used to support the CHC business and identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to build internal capabilities: Digital Media, Precision & Influencer Marketing, Professional Omnichannel, E- commerce, Go-to-Market, In-store & Customer development,. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the product team by encouraging learning, knowledge sharing, and best practice adoption. Establish processes for upskilling teams to stay ahead of industry trends and maintain competitive advantage.
Strategic Leadership: Act as a thought leader on product development best practices, emerging trends, and industry standards, advising senior leadership on relevant product opportunities and risks. Define and communicate the vision for the product pipeline and capability-building strategy across the organization. Partner with executive leadership to align the product strategy with business goals, ensuring a cohesive and integrated approach to growth. Stakeholder Management: Maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on product vision and development priorities. Provide regular updates on the product pipeline, capability-building efforts, and progress toward strategic goals to executive leadership and other departments. Facilitate decision-making by providing data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership. Performance Metrics & Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for both product pipeline health and team capability development. Establish a reporting structure that enables ongoing tracking of product performance and team development progress. Analyze and report on product development outcomes to ensure the pipeline remains aligned with business objectives.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in science or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Experience: 10+ years of experience in product management, product development, or a related field At least 5 years in a leadership role, with experience managing product pipelines and developing team capabilities. Proven track record of successfully launching products from ideation through execution. Proven track record in capability building, deployment and tracking. Strong background in managing cross-functional teams and working with senior executives. Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform product strategy. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to inspire and lead teams through change and ambiguity. Data-driven approach to decision-making.
