What is the opportunity?

The Associate Director, PoMO Reporting & Analytics is responsible for leading the development implementation, maintenance, and enhancements of reporting and analytical strategies to drive data informed decision making across the organization’s project portfolio. This role is essential for providing portfolio insights into portfolio performance, analyzing key risks, issues, dependencies, resource utilization, benefits to enable senior leadership to make informed decisions. The role will identify data quality deficiencies and provide continuous improvement strategies to provide consistent data quality assurance.

What will you do?

Maintain and enhance a Centralized Portfolio Register – Current and future years.Design regular and ad hoc reports that provide insight into project status, resource allocation, financial performance, benefit realization, RAID etc.Centralized hub for all Portfolio/Project/Persistent Team reportingBusiness Owner of the Portfolio Management Tool adopted by RBCIS.Lead the design and execution of analytical models and tools to assess portfolio performance and identify areas for risk, issue and dependency mitigation and improvement.Utilize analytics techniques to derive insights from complex data sets and translating findings into actionable recommendations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure that reporting tools and dashboards meet the needs of various stakeholders.Act as primary liaison between business units, PMs, and IT to ensure data integrity and accessibility.Leverage WM Transformation Office (TMO) and other enterprise partners on best practices, standards, tools and delivery options.Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs, OKRs) and benchmarks to evaluate project and portfolio success.Monitor and analyze portfolio performance against established indicators, providing insights to drive continuous improvement.Lead and mentor a team of analysts, promoting a culture of data driven decision making and professional development.Foster an environment of collaboration and innovation within the team to enhance reporting and analytical capabilities.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

5-10 Years experience in Portfolio / Program ManagementExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in MS-Office applicationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to think critically about problems and ask probing questions.
