We are seeking an experience Associate Director to oversees the Procurement & Contracts team on assigned projects, guiding strategy and execution across procurement planning, solicitation development, contract negotiation, and risk management. This role involves managing procurement lifecycles, providing strategic contractual advice, building strong client relationships, and supporting internal and external stakeholders. The Associate Director contributes to business development, delivers best-in-class service, and is seen as a trusted advisor by colleagues and clients.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Lead procurement and contract activities on multiple projects or programs, managing workload and deliverables of the Procurement & Contracts team.Develop procurement strategies, lead procurement planning sessions, and manage the full lifecycle of solicitations (RFQs, RFPs, IFBs, etc.).Draft, review, and negotiate design and construction contracts, primarily using AIA and other industry-standard forms.Ensure contracts align with client objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk mitigation best practices.Provide oversight on procurement compliance, contractor onboarding, and contractual performance tracking.Support internal training and mentorship on contract administration, procurement procedures, and project delivery methods.Collaborate across service lines to provide integrated project delivery and advisory solutions.Contribute to fee proposal development and support client onboarding and scoping of services.Identify opportunities for account growth, cross-selling services, and building long-term client partnerships.Manage and monitor project budgets, billing, and revenue forecasts.Participate in industry events and thought leadership initiatives.Meet revenue and profitability targets set by leadership.Other duties as assigned.Attendance at work during normal business hours.Knowledge & Skills Required:Ability to lead procurement strategy and contract negotiations for complex construction programs.Strong working knowledge of design and construction procurement methods including: Design-Bid-Build, CMAR, Design-Build, etc.Expert understanding of AIA and other contract forms, including negotiation and amendment practices.Proficiency in contract management platforms, tools, document control systems, and client/vendor portals.Deep understanding of compliance, legal frameworks, and industry regulations relevant to public and private sector contracting.Effective delegation and team supervision skills, providing ongoing feedback and coaching.Ability to monitor performance metrics, deliver against revenue goals, and support business development.Strong verbal and written communication skills with client-facing presence.Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management.Early-stage business mindset with a focus on process optimization and client value.Demonstrated leadership and ability to mentor junior staff.High level of attention to detail, organization, and contract compliance.Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.Preferred Education and Experience:Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Law, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.Experience: 8 to 12 years in construction procurement, contract management, and advisory within the AEC industry.Preferred Certification: Professional certification such as MRICS, MCIArb, CPCM, CCM, or equivalent.#LI-SJ1
