The Associate Director of Product Management leads the K-C North America Commercial Analytics product teams and responsible for shaping the future of our digital product offerings, drive innovation, and deliver business outcomes. 

This strategic leadership position oversees a team of product managers who drive value creation in the realm of data and analytics through understanding the intersection of business objectives and Voice of the Customer, reimagining the status quo, and finding opportunities to do things better. By leading the Product Management team, Associate Director of Product Management plays a key role in aligning stakeholders around the vision and priorities for their analytics product domain and translating Kimberly-Clark’s business objectives into tangible capabilities that enable users to work faster, better, and smarter.

In this role, you will:

Provide leadership in Product Line/Portfolio strategy, including long term vision and direction.

Collaborate with cross functional leadership, ensuring alignment with overall KC and KCNA strategy and goals.

Mentor other product managers and guide their development.

Make critical decisions on priority and trade-offs relating to product features, resources, and budget.

Drive product innovation by identifying new opportunities and research.

Continuously analyze all KCNA digital products’ performance and feedback, ensuring products meets customer needs and business outcomes.

Provides cross-functional leadership, most notably between engineering teams, sales and marketing, and support. A key aspect of this is communicating the product roadmap and keeping the product team and the stakeholders informed of updates.

Collaborates with the Product Owner to leverage stakeholder insights to develop a living and breathing roadmap for the future while advocating for and driving alignment between stakeholders in the development of requirements, acceptance criteria, and solutions.

Understands how KCNA objectives intersect with the needs, pain points, and priorities of the user base of their analytics domain.

Understands what success looks like for different groups in terms of use cases and user experience, as documented with User Personas, Use Cases, and Case Studies

Accountable for stakeholder management at each point of the product lifecycle including requests, adoption, requirements gathering, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Develops and manages defined communication channel(s) and/or stakeholder groups, proactively seeking to identify potential demand, and drives the creation of the business case

Anticipates changes in customer/user needs, adapt product (with enhancements), and create product retirement and transitioning plans.

10+ years relevant industry experience, including prior leadership roles and Product Management experience.

Proven track record of successfully delivering data and analytics products.

Experience with product life cycle management especially with product vision, strategy, roadmap, and prioritization.

Experience engaging, influencing, and building strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior executives.

Strong cross-functional leadership, team management, influencing, collaboration, relationship-building, and communication skills

Experience working with teams organized around Agile ways of working.

Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, including making data-driven decisions to achieve product and business objectives

Preferred (not essential, but desired):

Prior experience leading a team of direct reports.

Prior experience working for a global, highly matrixed, Consumer Packaged Goods company.

Experience conducting stakeholder interviews, market analysis, and other forms of research.

Experiencing identifying goals, metrics, and analytics to measure value at a large scale (e.g., a product, a program)

Familiarity with uncovering and championing high value use cases for data.

Knowledge of data analytics tools and technologies, including experience with data visualization, machine learning, and data warehousing

Familiarity with software development lifecycle and how to work with a Scrum team.

Prior experience using retailer POS data, inventory data, and panel data (e.g., Nielsen, IRI, Numerator, Luminate, 1010, etc.)
