The Associate Director, R&D Business Finance will be the key finance business partner for multiple R&D function groups, with the focus on providing sound financial planning and reporting support throughout the forecasting and closing cycles.
How you’ll spend your day• Support R&D function budgeting, reporting and analysis processes
• Provide financial guidance in manners that is clear across the function groups
• Effectively track and communicate spending trends to different function team members
• Actively engage in function operation to gain deep understanding
• Support function groups’ Capital spend needs, including reviewing and approving capital spending requests
• Provide clear analysis and reporting to R&D FP&A
• Actively participate in on-going improvement of processes and tools
• Support ad hoc analytical needs
• A minimum of 6-8 years of progressively responsible experience
• Advanced knowledge of budgeting and forecasting processes
• Education: Bachelors required. MBA and or Certified Public Accountant preferred
• Experienced in partnering across functional areas
• Have a high level of written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization
• Service oriented mindset
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
• High level of integrity and dependability
