Job Summary
The Rapid Application Development (RAD) team within GRM Market Risk and Counterparty Credit Risk (MCCR) is responsible for developing and maintaining business managed applications used to monitor financials risks to the Bank’s trading book. As Associate Director, you will work on developing a new market risk application, as well as serve as a resource and subject matter expert for the MCCR team, IT and other stakeholders.As Associate Director, you will also query data and develop tools to enhance ad hoc reporting within MCCR, supporting portfolio monitoring and workflow activities.

What is the opportunity?
The Rapid Application Development (RAD) team within GRM Market Risk and Counterparty Credit Risk (MCCR) is responsible for developing and maintaining business managed applications used to monitor financials risks to the Bank’s trading book. As Associate Director, you will work on developing a new market risk application, as well as serve as a resource and subject matter expert for the MCCR team, IT and other stakeholders.
As Associate Director, you will also query data and develop tools to enhance ad hoc reporting within MCCR, supporting portfolio monitoring and workflow activities.
What will you do?
Analyze existing market risk applications to identify opportunities for improvement and simplification, ensuring they are fit-for-purpose.Manage the development and documentation of market risk applications by liaising with industry teams and the GRM MCCR team.Collaborate with various teams to define business requirements for the implementation of market risk applications.Serve as a key point of contact for the MCCR team regarding issues related to market risk applications.Modernize the development and monitoring process of market risk applications to reflect best practices and meet industry standards.Drive innovation within GRM Market & Counterparty Credit Risk by participating in or leading projects that benefit from technical expertise and access to data.What do you need to succeed?

Minimum 5 years programming or related experienceBachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, or a quantitative disciplineAbility to think critically to understand industry drivers to develop sound recommendations for risk managersHigh degree of programming literacy (JavaScript (ReactJS), TailwindCSS, Python and SQL)Advanced organizational skills including the ability to simultaneously manage and prioritize multiple projectsStrong communication skills (written and verbal)Nice-to-have
