Job Description

The Associate Director of RCM Vendor Partnerships & Client Success will serve as the key leader responsible for managing and optimizing relationships with revenue cycle management (RCM) vendors. This role involves tracking vendor performance metrics, ensuring vendor accountability, and fostering successful partnerships that align with the organization’s strategic goals. The Associate Director will collaborate closely with operational leaders to streamline processes, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement in vendor and client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Performance Management:

Establish, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs) for all RCM vendors.Conduct regular performance reviews with vendors to ensure accountability and adherence to contractual terms.Identify performance gaps and collaborate with vendors to implement corrective action plans.

Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, strategic relationships with key vendor partners.Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors to address escalations, negotiate changes, and resolve conflicts.Partner with vendors to develop innovative solutions that enhance service delivery and client satisfaction.

Collaboration with Operational Leaders:

Work closely with operational leaders to understand business needs and ensure vendor alignment with organizational goals.Facilitate communication and coordination between internal teams and external vendors to drive seamless operations.Provide strategic insights to operational leaders based on vendor performance data and industry trends.

Leadership and Team Development:

Lead and mentor a team of Client Success Associates, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.Develop team goals and performance metrics aligned with organizational priorities.Provide training, coaching, and feedback to ensure the team delivers exceptional client service and vendor coordination.Conduct regular team meetings to share updates, align strategies, and recognize achievements.

Client Success Initiatives:

Oversee the integration of vendor services into client workflows, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.

Monitor client satisfaction related to vendor-provided services and implement strategies to enhance client experiences.

Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for improved vendor-driven outcomes.

Contract and Budget Oversight:

Assist in negotiating vendor contracts and amendments to optimize cost and value.

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and budgetary constraints.

Provide regular reporting on vendor performance, costs, and ROI to executive leadership.

Strategic Planning and Innovation:

Continuously evaluate the vendor landscape to identify new partnership opportunities and emerging technologies.

Develop a strategic roadmap for vendor partnerships that supports organizational growth and market competitiveness.

Advocate for process improvements and best practices in vendor management and client success.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s and Master's degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field preferred 

5+ years of experience in vendor management, client success, or operations within the healthcare or RCM industry.

Proven track record of managing vendor relationships and driving measurable performance improvements.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and build strong partnerships.

Knowledge of RCM processes, industry regulations, and vendor management best practices.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving.

Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive accountability.

High attention to detail and organizational skills.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and vendor management software.

The salary range for this role is $110,000.00 to $115,000.00 in base pay and exclusive of any bonus or benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, 401K, paid time off, and other wellness programs). This role is also eligible for an annual bonus targeted at 15% based on performance in the role. The base pay offered will be determined based on relevant factors such as experience, education, and geographic location.
