What the day will look like
+ Develop and grow ‘New’ sales for Aon Singaporw with focus on MNCs and Large Corporates Segments
+ Execute Local Market Plans and develop a pipeline of opportunities in the Corporate and Commercial business segments, with full responsibility for converting those prospects to clients
+ Actively search for new clients by developing leads through social platforms, calls, follow up on direct marketing, attend networking events and convert leads to sales opportunities
+ Develop opportunities by demonstrating risk and insurance expertise and ability to help solve clients’ problems
+ Engage with local and regional teams across solution lines and geography to bring the best of Aon to clients.
+ Manage proposals and responses to tenders and develop quality presentations as needed, work with the relevant bid management in country and regional experts
+ Facilitate cross-selling activities
+ Achieve the individual sales target and overall growth target for Commercial Risk Solutions (CRS).
+ Mentoring and coaching of junior Sales and Marketing team members to equip them for success
+ Contribute, as required, to CRS Singapore initiatives in general by providing constructive feedback and implementing agreed initiatives
Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ University degree and/ or a professional qualification
+ Minimum of 6 years’ experience in the general insurance industry
+ Highly motivated and sales driven
+ Highly articulate, an effective communicator who uses consultative selling skills
+ Exceptionally organised with strong time management skills
+ Excellent team player
+ Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines while maintaining prospect relationships
+ Creative and lateral thinker
+ Confidence to present to audiences / decision makers
+ Strong computer/systems literacy including first class Word and PowerPoint skills
