KPMG is currently seeking a Associate Director, Security Governance, Risk and Compliance to join our Enterprise Security Services organization. This is a remote work opportunity.
Responsibilities:Apply an advanced knowledge of risk, compliance, technology, and information security to lead/ execute a continuous compliance monitoring implementation planDirect or be a primary contributor on multiple key projects, programs and initiatives related to continuous compliance and controls monitoring, both automated and manual, that require advanced knowledgeAssist in execution of the integrated internal compliance function across multiple lines of business, building and maintaining trust-based relationships with leaders and evaluate risk reduction and mitigation activities to continually drive towards risk reduction methodologiesDefine criteria to make risk tradeoffs; as a subject matter expert, using continuous compliance monitoring analyze the impacts of control gaps, and make recommendations to leadership to minimize overall risk postureEvaluate the changing operating landscape and determine its impacts on organizational risks, obligations, and external expectations; recommend changes to compliance approach to ensure consistency with current IT and security best practicesProvide active coaching, mentoring, and knowledge-sharing with junior staff to advance their career development and create an environment of innovation and challenging the status quo; and manage and review those team members' work product; contribute to planning for short term needs, i.e., projects and processes; and may construct annual plan for deployment of those resourcesQualifications:Minimum eight years of recent risk and compliance experience within a large professional services environment specializing in physical and cyber securityBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; relevant industry certifications, e.g., CRISC, CISA, CISSP are preferredDemonstrated understanding of disparate compliance frameworks and risk management principles, as well as experience making decisions to optimize overall operational riskAbility to analyze and synthesize technical data and convey it to non-technical audiences; Experience implementing continuous controls and compliance monitoring program and associated technologyStrong understanding of key business objectives and how to balance business objectives against IT risksExcellent verbal/written communication, collaboration, analytical and presentation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and teamwork; must be able to set goals and participate in strategic initiatives for a team; and foster the development of high-performance teams and interface with all levels of the organization; ability to participate in development of resource plans and structures and influence organizational prioritiesMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
