Associate Director, Senior Technology Program Manager Operations and Transformation, OMF Technology

Job Overview
Reporting directly to the VP/MD Technology Operations and Transformation, the Senior Technology Program Manager is part of a small team serving in this role that provides dedicated general management support to senior leadership within OMF Technology. This role is a key enabler to drive transformation by providing reliable, consistent local management of budgets, staffing, reporting, and communications and serving as a liaison in aggregating department-specific information and data into a global operational view for progress monitoring and strategic decision-making.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong ability to collaborate across teams. The role requires strategic thinking and disciplined execution to ensure local alignment with the overall organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Budget Coordination & Management

Collaborate with senior leadership to develop the department’s budget and manage ongoing updates in collaboration with our Finance business partnerMonitor expenditures and work with senior leadership and their staffs to ensure expenditures are in alignment with budget forecasts

Staff Planning

Work with senior leadership to forecast staffing needs based on strategic initiatives and ongoing operationsEnsure recruiting aligns with the Technology job architectureWork with HR Recruiting and departmental leaders to ensure timely and effective interview practices to successfully recruit quality candidates

Tracking & Reporting

Collaborate with senior leadership to define key objectives and results (OKRs) for the department.Develop and maintain dashboards to track progress on OKRs, ensuring visibility into performance across the department

Communication & Engagement

Participate in cross-functional meetings to support effective communication, alignment of goals, and to help share insights to inform transformation activities and plansServe as an aggregation point for departmental information needed to develop executive presentations, conduct broader analysis, and develop other communications materials

Process Efficiency & Consistency

Assist in developing standards for management practices that can be implemented consistently across the organization, and then ensure these are applied locallyAssist in the development and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at improving departmental performanceEnsure adherence to compliance standards and organizational policies in all aspects of operations

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in technology operations, project management, or a related field, with at least 3 years in a leadership or associate director roleSkills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of budget management,Proficient in data analysis, metric tracking, and dashboard/reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI)Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlinesExpertise with required tools such as Microsoft OfficeExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to interact effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teamsFamiliarity with Agile or other project management methodologies is a plusPersonal Attributes:Collaborative, solution-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environmentHigh attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in all aspects of the roleSuperior organizational and problem-solving skills
