This position provides a seasoned software developer with an opportunity to transform legacy enterprise workloads in Microsoft environment into modern AWS native application architectures. As a senior software engineer on the Municipal team, you will foster a strong sense of team camaraderie and leverage your collaborative nature as you work closely with internal business partners to enhance our flagship product.
Technically as a senior .Net Engineer, you will apply existing and emerging technologies to build mission critical solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining market leading systems using Microsoft’s .NET Framework along with various AWS cloud platform services. Your strong proficiency with Angular 11+, ASP.NET, C#, and SQL programming along with AWS Serverless architectures will be used extensively in this role.

In addition to the design and development work, you will be required to take on initiatives and collaborate extensively with stakeholders and within the development team to achieve positive outcomes. **What you’ll work on:**
+ Design, develop, and implement heavily transactional and multi-tiered Web applications.
+ AWS technologies and agile methodologies, including GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Terraform etc.
+ Database development including stored procedures, performance tuning etc.
+ Provide level 2 & 3 support for your application, working closely with product and account management teams.
+ Assist the Product Management group in specifying requirements into technical requirements.
+ Collaborate with product owners to further value proposition of our applications.
**What we look for:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science/related field
+ 10-14 Years in building large scale web-based systems in a Microsoft Environment (Angular 11+, ASP.Net, C#, & SQL Server or related)
+ Solid experience with Angular 11+, ASP.NET and full-scale web application development
+ Deeper understanding of state management libraries in Angular like NgRx .
+ In-depth knowledge of Change Detection strategy in Angular is a must .
+ In-depth knowledge on RxJS for handling asynchronous operations is a must.
+ Unit Testing: Understanding of unit test frameworks like Jasmine and Karma would be useful.
+ Working knowledge of AWS technologies and/or Serverless architectures
+ Excellent knowledge on Microsoft
+ Fundamental knowledge of DevOps pipelines in Teamcity/ GitLab/ Azure
+ Ability to effectively communication both verbal and written.
+ Ability to work in team-oriented environment and can work independently.
+ Strong sense of ownership, urgency, and drive
+ Strong troubleshooting skills
+ Experience working in an Agile Development environment is preferred.
**The following experience would be advantageous:**
+ Data access through ADO.NET
+ WCF, Windows Services
+ Integration services experience, especially with MQ Series or Web Services
+ Knowledge of UML or similar design languages/methodologies
+ Experience with docker, terraform etc. is a plus.
+ Financial domain knowledge
+ SOA / jQuery / HTML5
+ RESTful API development
