Associate Director, Specialized Roles Learning & Capability Development

Join us as an Associate Director of Specialized Roles Learning & Capability Development, where you will be a key contributor to the strategic direction and leadership of the training team supporting the diagnostics (Precision Medicine), Market Access (MA) AZ business units, and Oncology Nurse Educator (ONE) programs. This is an opportunity to develop and implement a comprehensive training program that enhances the capabilities of our customer-facing teams, ultimately driving positive impact on patient care.

Accountabilities:

As part of your role, you will collaborate with internal stakeholders and senior training managers to understand current and future learning needs of the business. You will support the creation, implementation, and evaluation of the annual learning plans, ensuring alignment with US and Global business priorities and compliance standards. You will also assist in anticipating market changes and revising training programs to proactively address those changes.

Essential Skills/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech/oncology experienceStrong collaboration and stakeholder management and communication skillsTraining experience and program evaluation experience requiredConsultative abilities and expertise in identifying client needsExperience leading vendor partner relationshipsStrong awareness of capability frameworks

Desirable Skills/Experience

Advanced degree in a related fieldUS Oncology Market Access experience requiredUnderstanding of the US Payor landscape and market-shaping capabilitiesAwareness of oncology biomarker and testing practices2 years of people management experienceExperience with learning technology systems (e.g., Degreed, Cornerstone)Annual budgeting awareness
