General Description:
A member of BeiGene's Access Team, dedicated to engaging with various internal and external stakeholders while driving reimbursement for new technologies with payers. Responsible for developing and implementing access strategies tailored to the specific needs of each stakeholder, with the goal of enhancing the patient journey, expanding access, and contributing to the sustainability of the healthcare system."
Essential Functions:
In-depth understanding of the healthcare system, considering all institutional stakeholders, healthcare professionals (HCPs), care networks, regulations, legislation, and their interrelationships.Development of access strategies for each brand, aligned with global strategies, targeting various channels and stakeholders, both in private and public markets.Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare decision-making processes, including regulatory evaluations (Anvisa, CMED, Conitec, ANS), competitive landscape analysis, and a clear understanding of challenges and opportunities related to technology adoption in both private and public sectors.Creation of submission strategies for new technologies to ANS (private) and Conitec (public) by preparing Health Technology Assessment (HTA) dossiers in accordance with each agency’s technical requirements.Expertise in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR), pricing, and real-world evidence to develop dossiers, co-create projects, and generate health evidence to support decision-making processes.Deep understanding of the patient journey, particularly in oncology and hematology, and development of tailored plans to enhance the patient experience.Build and maintain sustainable relationships with access stakeholders and external vendors, using an ethical and empathetic approach to co-develop and propose constructive projects that improve and expand patient access.Monitor emerging regulatory, financial, and political trends, proactively identifying risks and formulating strategies.Collaborate with other functional areas to organize advisory boards, technical meetings, and events for payers.Train and develop Market Access Managers (field-based) using available data and tools.Monitor and regularly report on the progress of strategic projects to internal stakeholders.Develop and communicate market access data to drive our business decision (dashboards, reports, etc.)Working in total synergy with internal stakeholders, developing a culture with cross-functional plans. Ensure that all decisions taken are aligned with BeiGene's governance model, considering decision-making criteria based on the PTRB concept (patient, trust, reputation, business).Minimum Requirements – Education and Experience:
University undergraduate degree in life science or business; higher qualifications (MD, PhD, MBA) advantageousMinimum of 8+ years related job experience
Other Qualifications:
Knowledge of the health system, processes of Incorporation of New Technologies, Health economics and of Health Technology Assessment Concepts and Tools.Supervisory Responsibilities: None
