Associate Director, Supply Chain Operations
Job Description

As the Head of Australia Procurement and Supply Chain Operations, you will be reporting into the VP of Upstream Supply Chain and will be responsible for overseeing and managing all procurement and supply chain operations in the country.

You will act as the go-to person for the Country COO in case of escalation and will build a bridge between the global procurement and supply chain organisation. You will be responsible for managing the supply chain team, ensuring the availability of materials, and overseeing procurement activities.

You will…

Manage and oversee all procurement and supply chain activities, including supplier management, purchasing, inventory management, and logistics. Manage a team of supply chain planners, buyers, based both locally and offshore, providing guidance and support as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency (Operational Procurement errors, Waste) and reduce costs. Develop and maintain strong relationships with local suppliers, ensuring that they meet quality, delivery, and cost targets. Analyze data and develop reports on supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address issues. Act as a liaison between the local Australian entity and the Hellofresh global procurement and supply chain organisation. Ensure compliance with all procurement and supply chain policies and procedures.

You have…

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in the food industry. Experience in senior stakeholder management and problem-solving. Skilled in leading and influencing business partners, team members, and stakeholders by presenting ideas persuasively and facilitating collaborative discussions. Strong analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Experienced in managing and inspiring teams to achieve their full potential.

A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills. Someone with a "boots-on-the-ground" mindset, ready to take a hands-on approach. Experienced in procurement and supply chain policies and procedures. Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. Skilled in verbal and written communication, collaboration, and self-management, with a team-focused attitude.

Duration: Permanent full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia
