The Associate Director of Wholesaler/Distributor Contracting will lead and manage the strategic development, negotiation, and execution of contracts with Distributors/Wholesalers and Specialty Pharmacies for Teva’s Innovative and Biosimilar portfolio. This role is pivotal in optimizing distribution partnerships, maximizing contract value, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting organizational access and revenue goals. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical distribution landscape, strong negotiation skills, and experience leading cross-functional initiatives. The role will have at least one direct report.
Location: This is a hybrid position (3 days/week in office) that can be based out of our Parsippany, NJ OR West Chester, PA offices. If based in West Chester, as needed travel into the Parsippany office may be required.

Lead the strategic direction of Contracting within the Trade channel. Make recommendations for innovative solutions and technology enhancements to be more effective and efficient Establish and lead the contract approval process to ensure proper governance, organizational alignment and Leadership approvals Oversight or directly responsible for all aspects of the contract drafting process to ensure accuracy within required timelines Closely partner and collaborate with Account Management, Brand, Finance and Legal teams Negotiate favorable terms for distribution, pricing, payment, returns, chargebacks, and compliance with key wholesalers and distributors Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders (Account Management, Legal, Finance, Trade, Supply Chain, Commercial) and external partners Responsible for the approval and design of all pre-deal and post-deal analytics in collaboration with internal stakeholders Analyze contract performance and market trends to inform strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives Develop and implement performance metrics and scorecards to evaluate contract effectiveness Ensure all contracts meet legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements Monitor and optimize gross-to-net impact through effective contract design and execution Drive continuous improvement initiatives and cost-saving opportunities in the distribution channel Provide leadership and mentorship to direct reports and project teams, as applicable
Your experience and qualifications
Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Education/Certification/Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of Wholesaler/Distributor and Specialty Pharmacy pricing and contracting or equivalent related experience Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred In-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical wholesale distribution model, including major players (e.g., McKesson, Cencora/AmerisourceBergen, Cardinal Health) Proven experience negotiating complex, high-value contracts
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
Demonstrated direct report leadership experience preferred Experience working with specialty pharmaceutical products or biologics Knowledge of channel strategies for branded, generic, and/or biosimilar products Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Approximately 5 – 10% domestic travel throughout the US.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional:
Sitting for extended periods of time at workstation or mobile equipment.
Visual Acuity:
Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.
