As an Associate Director, Learning Architecture, you are responsible for development and execution of the Learning Technology strategy for Talent, Development & Inclusion (TD&I), including project, vendor & operations management. TD&I have recently invested in new learning technology and this role will work with the Learning Journey Designers to develop the strategy to support the build of a Leadership Academy within a learning experience platform. You will oversee the management of, vendors, and build and manage project plans and lead complex projects, influence stakeholders without authority and network across the organization, communicating effectively with leaders in a fast-moving, challenging, and dynamic commercial environment. Model Gilead’s core values of integrity, accountability, teamwork, excellence, and inclusion. **Essential Duties & Functions** + Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive end-to-end learning technology strategy working cross functionally with People Technology, People Analytics and external vendors to support the current and future needs of the Strategy Leads in TD&I including applications, tools, technology, and resources. + Instructional Design Tools: Work with the Learning Journey Designers to identify & implement the most effective instructional design tools to support the build of the Leadership Academy. + Analytics – Build the analytics framework, drive continuous improvement and enhanced analytics tracking the impact of implemented changes on overall employee experience to ensure continuous improvements and technology adoption. + Content Management & Governance – work with the Learning Journey Designers to build the content management & governance strategy. + Team & Vendor Management: Lead and manage a team of learning co-ordinators and a managed learning vendor to deliver high-quality, innovative, and effective learning solutions. Capacity plan to ensure that the team can deliver and are multi-skilled to create flexibility and move to projects as needed. + Stakeholder & Project Management: Serve as a trusted advisor to effectively influence and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure learning initiatives meet strategic goals. + Innovative Learning Solutions: Stay informed on industry trends and integrate advancements in learning technology and tools to drive innovative solutions that positively impact the learner experience and business outcomes. + Cross-functional Networking: Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to ensure seamless integration of learning programs. **Basic Qualifications:** Bachelor’s Degree and Ten Years’ Experience OR Master’s Degree and Eight Years’ Experience OR Ph.D. and Three+ Years’ Experience **Preferred Qualifications:** + With a bachelor’s degree at least 10 years’ of experience in the biopharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with increasing responsibilities + Experience working in a global environment with an enhanced understanding of learning & HR technology. + At least 2 years of relevant experience in technology project implementation and enhancements. + Experience working with 360Learning & Workday is preferred and a distinct. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package.
