What You Will Be Doing:

The Associate Director – Clinical AI and Automation Transformation – Clinical Capabilities role will lead the innovative use of technology to improve experiences, drive business efficiencies, ensure portfolio delivery and resiliency while developing a pipeline of technical talent. This role will partner with clinical leaders and tech on strategies, develop capabilities and lead teams of people to deliver with a focus on clinical result collection.

How You Will Succeed:

Deliver the clinical transformation using AI and Automation with a focus on people development, prioritization, issue identification and resolution, and portfolio delivery.

Help to transform how technology leads to optimal study designs, improved data collection, transformed clinical operations data flow efficiency and resiliency, improved operational stability, and ultimately improve the impact of technology across clinical development.

Deliver Lilly’s clinical pipeline with security, resiliency and a focus on speed. Transform operational efficiency to achieve 3NME.

Provide leadership and guidance to coach, empower, and lead team members and organizations to their optimum performance.

Responsible for building a pipeline of diverse engineers to support growing the organization and development teams.

Drive the agenda for continuous education to maintain the competitive advantage of our talent.

What You Should Bring:

Shown experience influencing internal partners to drive global change initiatives.

Demonstrated results from technology and process redesign to drive large scale automation.

Demonstrated excellence in mentoring and motivating individuals and teams to drive optimum performance.

Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to influence broadly across organizations and work effectively across levels.

Experience leading organizational change initiatives.

Experience leading people through a new fast-paced transformation agenda.

Knowledge of emerging IT capabilities used for clinical research.

Consistent track record of successful execution of complex initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in technology related field

7+ years of experience in leading innovative technology capabilities and teams

5+ years of experience leading transformation at the intersection of technology and life science

Experience in delivering and sustaining solutions throughout software development lifecycle: design, engineering, construct, testing, deployment, and support of software solutions, platforms, services, and capabilities.

Additional Information:

Hybrid position - located in Indianapolis, IN (relocation required)

Some travel maybe required
