We are seeking a talented individual to join our Project Management team at Oliver Wyman. This role will be based in Gurugram. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Associate Director – IT Project Management
The Project Manager is responsible for leading the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of key OWG Tech projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. In addition, adhering to project management best practices, standards, and guidelines. This position is an internal role and will support projects and teams that work within Oliver Wyman. While our core business is in consulting, this role is not a consultant position.
We will count on you to:
Drive and execute OWG Tech projects aligned with departmental or organizational strategy.Develop effective project plans with defined objectives, deliverables, and communication plans.Manage project resources and budget to ensure objectives are met.Partner with OWG Tech managers, to ensure roles and expectations are clearly defined and understood on each project.Identify critical paths and risks and on the project; track them and facilitate mitigation of these risks.Create and maintain relationships with stakeholders and manage expectations.Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.Report project health and status utilizing agreed project management systems and tools.Ensure project closure meetings are held, produce project closure reports highlighting areas for improvement.Strong interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, negotiation, and consensus building skills.Strong knowledge of IT project management methodologies.Strong knowledge of project management framework, information management practices and IT solution delivery processes, procedures, and toolsets.Strong technical knowledge and background, Product ownership and relationship management.Experience with managing cloud implementation projects in large organizations.Knowledge of budget, invoicing, and project financials.Excellent analytical and technical skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent planning and organizational skills.Excellent customer and/or client service orientation.Polished and professional demeanor.Ability to plan and facilitate effective meetings and good presentation skills.Ability to manage multiple projectsWhat you need to have:
5+ years of Project Management experienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, business, or equivalent experienceScrum Master certifications required.PMP certification preferred.What makes you stand out:
