Purpose:
The purpose of the Associate Director role is to serve as the subject matter expert for clinical systems and capabilities supporting Patient Engagement. In this role, you will define and execute implementation plans to measure, track and improve the demonstrated value of strategies and tactics deployed by the Patient Engagement organization.
The Associate Director is responsible for collaborating with business partners to enable development, implementation and support of streamlined, clear and compliant systems to support Patient Engagement. This role will also work closely with external parties (i.e., vendors) to optimize Lilly’s ability to measure and track the return on investment of various efforts that are deployed across the organization.

Clinical Systems and Capability Expertise
Understand business strategies, processes and technology as it relates to Patient Engagement and clinical developmentAnalyze, create visualizations in support of, and communicate data, insights, and recommendations from information in various internal and external sources to support decision makingCreate and adapt queries to extract necessary data from internal and external data sources for timely analysisExtract and curate data from multiple data sources to build integrated datasets and visualizations that will drive recommendations and decisionsServe as domain expert to ensure data, process and/or technology interfaces are optimized across other clinical information systems and capabilities that are integrated with these systemsSupport internal audits and external inspections as neededProject Management
Define, lead and execute implementation plans to deliver on technology strategies and improvements including organizational change management (OCM), communications and training.Develop critical success factors for pilots/projects and monitor progress to ensure clear criteria exists to enable decision makingIdentify, monitor and communicate global customer (internal and external) needs/requirements related to process and/or technology performance and improvementsLead organizational change, communication planning and training initiativesProvide guidance and consulting into forecasting expensesIdentify project implementation and system execution risks and raise issues appropriatelyLead progress reporting activities and system metrics to leadership, product and process owners and end usersPartnership
Partner with appropriate product and process owners, leadership, Quality and Tech@Lilly to ensure capable, integrated and efficient system usage across the portfolioActively participate in shared learning across the teamWork with vendors to improve efficiencies in data flow and data managementMinimum Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific, technical/IT or health-related fieldMinimum 5-8 years’ experience in a relevant fieldExpertise in database management and data visualization software (ex. PowerBI)Other Information/Additional Preferences:
