What the day will look like Aon Re, Inc. seeks an Associate Director in Miami, Florida to support international insurance and reinsurance services. Create model inputs from data and assumptions to create actuarial reports and evaluate metrics for reinsurance products. Conducting treaties’ broking negotiations in servicing reinsurance clients, including developing solutions and providing strategic advice to address client needs. Build internal and external networks to assist in growth efforts. Visualize and quantify risk exposure to advise on reinsurance structures. Utilize Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI to analyze and visualize actuarial data. Source new revenue opportunities with a focus in catastrophe insurance business. Participate in reinsurer meetings and discussions regarding client program placements. Prepare formal reinsurance submission materials and executive-facing presentations. Analyze reinsurance contracts renewal information. Perform experience and exposure analyses and evaluate reinsurance structures and dynamical financial analysis (DFA) based on stochastic models. Optimize insurance portfolios by segmenting historical information and identifying in which variable the loss ratio is explained. Local telecommuting available 1 day per week. Annual salary: $155,709 - $165,000. Job Location: 701 Brickell Avenue, Suite 3200, Miami, FL 33131 Skills and experience that will lead to success Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field plus five progressive years of insurance and reinsurance experience. Must have at least five years of experience in each of the following: 1. Creating model inputs from data and assumptions to create actuarial reports and evaluate metrics for reinsurance products; 2. Conducting treaties’ broking negotiations; 3. Utilizing Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI to analyze and visualize actuarial data; 4. Analyzing reinsurance contracts renewal information; and 5. Performing experience and exposure analyses and evaluating reinsurance structures and dynamical financial analysis (DFA) based on stochastic models.
