Job Summary

Reporting to the Director-Network Ops Centre, the role contains the following requirements:

Supervision of International Fleet Team.Strategic development, process improvement and coordination of region-wide fleet operations.Coordination of fleet supplier reviews/contract negotiationsMonthly reporting/analysis.Overseeing/approving cost distribution journals.Support to HR with benchmarking and policy reviews.Statutory reporting.Coordination of research into new and developing automotive industry technologies and products, with a clear focus on the transition to electrification where viable.Monitoring and reporting on fleet carbon emissions.Internal and external communications at all levels.Audit and regulatory compliance.

Job Description

Based in India and working as part of the global fleet operation, this is the lead role for the company’s international region.Leading a focused and professional team, you will be responsible for all aspects of the fleet function, encompassing the driver, the vehicle, and the journey.Due to significant growth within India, you will have a major focus on this volume administration area, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.The role will require a wide range of skills including clear communication both internally and externally, presentation creation and delivery, support to key stakeholder’s/leaders and management of the fleet suppliers.Strong spoken and written English language is essential, as is attention to detail, a strong customer focus and the ability to work within tight deadlines and maintaining focus on multiple and varied activities simultaneously.A knowledge of India vehicle regulations and the automotive industry in general would be advantageous, as would an enthusiastic, motivational servant-leader approach with a drive to remove roadblocks and facilitate ease of operation for the team.
