Summary:
This individual will drive the strategy and execution of commercial opportunities for the late-life cycle portfolio and activities associated with Loss of Exclusivity (LOE) for the BMS portfolio.
Responsibilities:
Drive business case development, resource alignment and commercial execution of strategic opportunities.Collect and disseminate strategic information and action plans to senior managementDevelop and maintain financial models/NPV/erosion analogues.Analyze competitive information related to existing and potential generic competition.Create and execute the response strategy by risk/threat area and brand at T-24 months.Create LOE plans during Peri-LOE period in collaboration from global/regional matrix functions, including oversight for supply, pricing, tenders, promotion.Ensure seamless execution of LOE plans, identify risks and opportunities, and partner with matrix partners to develop mitigation plans and business cases as necessaryBuild and maintain excellent stakeholder networks and relationships internally and externally to develop key insights and advance our business. This individual will serve as the interface with all aspects of the BMS matrix, including Marketing, Access, Finance, Legal, Trademarks/IP counsel and Manufacturing.Qualifications:
BA, BS, or equivalent required. MBA strongly preferred.Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical experience in Marketing / Finance / Business DevelopmentExperience in development and execution of successful strategic plans, project management, P&L management, financial modeling, and competitive intelligence.Proven track record of effectively and efficiently driving performance within a matrix organization,Proven project management experienceStrong organizational, and communication skills (both oral and written).Self- starter who acts with a sense of accountability and urgency, is highly detailed oriented, and has demonstrated success in multi-tasking and sound decision-making.Demonstrated analytical skills, with regards to market research, competitive data collection analysis, financial analysis and crystallization of key business insights are neededExcellent inter-personal and negotiation skills to work across matrix teams and interact with external partners and senior management.Clear understanding of the BMS organization, policies, and experience with internal BMS processes and systems.Experience with managing and maximizing late lifecycle products a plus.The individual will need to have a strong understanding of pharmaceutical market dynamics (generic and branded), especially in the peri and post-LOE timeframeIf you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn’t perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
