Job Title: Associate Director
Location:Bangalore / Hyderabad
Job Summary: We are seeking an innovative and dynamic Associate Director with a strong blend of leadership and technical expertise. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud-based implementations (Azure) and technologies such as ADLSg2 and cloud based applications, Snowflake, Databricks, and big data processing. Key skills would include a strong technical foundation as well as a solid architectural background. Knowledge & understanding in Generative AI (GenAI) is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. The intent and impact of this approach is the creation of a strong generalist team able to take on challenges across / around any of the associated platforms/technologies.Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalability and reliability.Design, deploy and support applications as well as multi-tenant applications designed and deployed upon the platforms that the team is responsible for.Utilize Snowflake and Databricks for efficient data warehousing and big data analytics.Develop and enforce architectural standards and best practices across projects, and platforms.Leverage GenAI to drive innovative solutions and enhance business processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical strategies with business goals. Many of the key relationships will be across multiple time zones in the US, East, Central and Pacific time zones.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience in cloud platforms, listed in priority order. (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).Expertise architecting and engineering “Cost Efficient/Cost Effective” robust solutions that utilize our chosen standard big data platforms. (Databricks, Snowflake etc.)Expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, and big data processing.Strong architectural background with a focus on scalable and efficient designs. (Cost efficient)Hands-on experience with Generative AI applications and tools is a plus.Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills.#DataEngineering
