About the Role
We are seeking a Finance Master Data Governance Lead to drive data governance across our SAP ecosystem. Reporting to the Director of Operational Excellence, you will ensure the integrity of finance master data, oversee system changes, and maintain data quality across multiple locations. This role requires expertise in financial data processes and governance, with a focus on SAP and other financial systems.

You’ll be responsible for implementing and customizing our global template for localization requirements while managing the ongoing deployment and maintenance of SAP S/4 systems (currently in Release 3). You'll work closely with IT and operations, managing stakeholders across finance, commercial, procurement, and shared services functions, ensuring alignment and governance across all areas.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Finance Master Data Governance, ensuring data quality, standardization, and compliance across global locations.

Govern system changes related to master data and ensure consistency across ERP platforms.

Collaborate with IT and operations to manage system governance, financial data integration, and process improvements.

Implement and sustain SAP S/4 system releases, ensuring smooth deployment and ongoing maintenance.

Oversee financial processes like accounts payable/receivable, ensuring data governance supports business operations.

Manage multiple stakeholders, including IT counterparts, finance, procurement, and commercial teams, ensuring alignment across functions.

Play a key role in change management, driving system and process improvements, and ensuring user adoption.

Act as a technical expert in financial data processes while ensuring high-level understanding of finance and ERP platforms.

Requirements

Expertise in SAP S/4 and financial master data governance, with experience working across multiple locations.

Strong technical knowledge of finance systems and processes, with the ability to lead governance efforts.

Experience in finance shared services and ERP platforms, with a focus on implementing and customizing global templates.

Proven ability to manage and influence multiple stakeholders across finance, IT, and other business functions.

Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to lead escalations and drive governance-related conversations.

Experience with change management and process improvements in a global organization.

Preferred Skills

Experience with other finance systems and ERP platforms.

Knowledge of data integration and governance processes in a global SAP environment.

Hands-on experience with global SAP implementations.
