We are the key contact for the sites in terms of performance management, tactical and strategic business needs. The Associate Director FP&A

Reporting to the Site Finance Lead, you will work with the finance team and operational areas to support the analysis and development of the financial information required to successfully support the company’s endeavors.. As a member of the Finance team you support your business partners by having a strong focus on FP&A activities like forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting but also ensuring robust capital management and compliance. You bring the drive, skills, and personal impact to contribute to the financial performance of the organization and are able to work independently on more complex matters.

Main responsibilities

Act as key finance support and business partner to the sites in the NL cluster and the wider Large Molecule manufacturing network. You will be the key business partner to more complex production departments, this would include:

Playing a key role in the preparation and review of the company’s operating budget, product costing, annual productivity analysis and capital budget; Be the key financial business partner in preparation of (investment) projects to support company business decisions, by providing accurate, timely and reliable financial information as well as support during the governance process.Supporting the delivery of key business projects through financial modelling and analysis; Management of site spend in partnership with budget owners focusing on headcount, operating expenses to help drive productivity; Supporting business partners with in depth analysis and understanding of manufacturing and inventory accounting including variance analysis; Supporting the site monthly closing and reporting cycle; Providing ad hoc financial input and advice to the site leadership team; Challenging and driving continuous improvement of existing processes through optimization, standardization and stability; Internal control and compliance: ensure that all activities are handled in line with the internal controls requirements and provide support during internal and external audits, including SOX compliance.

Your profile

Bachelor‘s / Master’s Degree in Accounting/Finance with a demonstrated record of solid achievementsKnowledge of US GAAPMinimum of 5 years of experience in multinational companiesBusiness partnering skills;Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and work to tight deadlinesAbility to manage change;Strong interpersonal and communication skills;Pro-active attitude with an improvement mindset;Understanding of planning, budget and forecasting processes;Understanding of inventory accounting and manufacturing variances;Understanding of project accounting and management;Analytical and problem-solving skills, including Six Sigma and/ or Lean principlesKnowledge of SAP (finance modules) and Microsoft Office

It's possible to work from our locations in Haarlem or De Bilt with the expectation of being onsite in Boxmeer at least once per week.
