The role is located in our headquarters in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main area and offers the chance to work closely with your various stakeholders, therefore we anticipate a significant on site presence in Ingelheim.Tasks & responsibilitiesIn your role, you will be a trusted advisor for our Business Units providing excellent consulting services to ensure the success of Boehringer Ingelheim's strategic and large-scale initiatives. As Associate Director, you will therefore design, manage and monitor these initiatives across multiple functional areas, businesses, regions & countries.With your experience, you will work independently within a project, facilitate tasks and deliverables and act as a trusted counterpart and sparring partner to the business.Moreover, you will prepare, recommend and present actionable, client-sensitive solutions for projects to the business partner, steering- and executive committees.Anticipating future trends and upcoming challenges, you will actively contribute to the departmental development by creating new methodologies, tools and concepts.As experienced project leader, you will promote a culture of continuous improvement, supporting team members to achieve quality standards and implement efficiency gains.RequirementsVery good master's degree or doctoral degree in Business Administration or Science, Medicine or other comparable academic qualificationLong-term work experience with top-tier management consultancy, preferebly focusing on the pharmaceutical or the healthcare industryThereof, several years´ experience in project leadership rolesInternational work experience in Commercial, Medicine, R&D, Operations or Enabling Functions in healthcareAbility to build positive relationships and to facilitate cross-functional collaborationStrong skills in complex problem-solving in ambiguous environments, critical thinking, and stakeholder managementProven methodological skills, including strategy development, organizational design or equivalent, business units/functional strategies, agile methods, etc.Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior audiences in English are required.
