The Role
As an Associate Director Claims, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring property claims are handled with the highest standards of service and compliance. Acting as a key liaison between clients and insurers, you’ll bring your expertise in the London Market, particularly in the property sector, to deliver outstanding outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
We rely on you to be the driving force behind efficient claims handling and client happiness. You’ll:
Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and insurers, managing property claims efficiently and in line with client expectations and regulatory standards.
Build and nurture positive relationships with both clients and markets, negotiating the best outcomes for our clients.
Take ownership of ongoing delegated authority contracts, ensuring their managed effectively.
Create comprehensive claims documents that make an impact and present claims to underwriters while addressing queries and providing updates.
Work closely with clients and third parties to resolve queries and ensure seamless communication throughout the claims process.
Stay ahead of legal and regulatory developments to ensure compliance and maintain high standards.
Who We're Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional claims service and has the experience to match. You’ll need:
A consistent track record in a claims' role within the London Market, with a focus on property claims.
A background in broking is helpful!
A solid understanding of property claims, London Market operations (Lloyd’s and company markets), and the broader claims-handling process.
Insight into the broking and underwriting process, as well as market knowledge, including an awareness of competitors and specific territory or cultural considerations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills—you’ll know how to make an impression, both in person and in writing.
Qualifications
We value your expertise and potential! Ideally, you’ll have:
A-level qualifications (grades A-C or equivalent).
Progression toward professional qualifications—this is desired but not crucial.
