Position Overview
Lilly is staffing for an Associate Director of Marketing, Masterbrand who will be responsible for supporting Masterbrand and reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing.
The ideal candidate will have experience in and a passion for brand management, marketing and/or brand strategy. This individual will be responsible for the proper implementation of the Lilly brand identity through oversight of the Brand Book and brand governance, both internally and externally. Responsibility will also include the continued implementation of our recent brand refresh, integrating the brand through our corporate brand sponsorships and partnerships, supporting global creative requests, and overseeing brand merchandise for the global organization.
Prior experience in leading complex marketing and branding projects, working with creative teams, and a demonstrated ability to collaborate and get work done across functions with strong operational skills are expected. This person can navigate ambiguity and subjectivity while keeping the work moving and is solutions-oriented.
This position has a global remit, with a strong focus in the US. Requires ability to work well with agencies, vendors, creative teams and can communicate at all levels within the business. You are adept at building trust and rapport across cross-functional teams while establishing new capabilities to support the evolving landscape. You must quickly build trust and deliver executional excellence at the same time.
Responsibilities:
Leadership: Ability to work cross functionally to execute short term and long-term campaign development and brand development work . Maintain campaign schedule and budget.
Creative Development: Work with external creative agency to deliver a comprehensive multi-stakeholder campaign strategy and execution.
Collaboration: Work closely with external agency/partnership partners and internal cross functional partners including Media, Social Media, Privacy, Legal and Regulatory, E&C and CDDA to deliver a full campaign plan and associated assets. Need to have ability to work within and lead within an IAT agency model.
Asset Management: Responsible for campaign development and deliverables keeping track of partnership assets and associated activation elements and all related approval processes.
Data Driven: Partner closely with Advanced Analytics and Market Research teams on frameworks, metrics, learning agendas, and the operationalizing deliverables across campaign assets.
Agency Management: Manage day-to-day agency relationships. Establish expectations (two-way) for client – agency partnership. Build relationship with agency leads to accomplish customer focused strategy and tactics. Foster positive relationships and Team Lilly spirit.
Risk Management: Ensure compliance with marketing guidelines, policies, and procedures. Maintain good practices across Privacy, IT, Analytics, Legal and Regulatory.
Financial Management: Instill flawless fundamentals into budget management across team.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor’s degreeSenior, seasoned professional with 5+ years’ experience in marketing, and/or in sports in marketing and/or entertainment marketing partnerships, sponsorships, creative, and/or marketing/mediaQualified applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. Previous mass media campaign experience. Consumer Marketing experience is a plus. Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is
$122,250 - $179,300Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
