Job Location: Hybrid- São Paulo; Fluency in English required

We are building out a brand-new team in our São Paulo office to support our Platform Infrastructure Engineering team and enhance the FactSet tools used by our development teams and clients.

As an Associate Director of Network Engineer, be responsible for guiding and optimizing FactSet's network infrastructure in Brazil, you will mentor a diverse team of engineers, and fostering a culture of growth and innovation while ensuring technical excellence and collaboration across departments. In addition to serving as the primary leader for Engineering within the Brazil office, you will also be instrumental in the setup and expansion of the office, champion company culture and values, and play a key role in developing and nurturing a positive and motivating workplace culture.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead the engineering team in Brazil, establishing a positive workplace culture.Mentor a diverse team and support career development.Handle recruitment and team planning to nurture future leaders.Guide the team to meet industry standards and enhance network performance.Develop a technology roadmap that balances business needs and innovation.Collaborate and optimize network systems for performance and security.Simplify technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.Participate in on-call coverage for network support.

Minimum Requirements:

BS in engineering or equivalent experience.10+ years in relevant roles, with 6+ years leading teams.Ability to adapt to new technologies and communicate effectively.Experience with network protocols and automation tools.

Critical Skills:

Expertise in LAN switching, optical networking, and wireless networks.Competency with cloud technologies and programming languages.Experience in a financial industry network. Certification in Cisco or similar is a plus.
