Assists the Director of Practicum Development and Community Partnerships in all aspects of the planning and administration of the social work practicum program.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include but not limited to:
Assists in the day-to-day operation of the Online Program as it pertains to the Office of Practicum DevelopmentDevelops new opportunities for Practicum placement assignments through professional networks, community partnerships, collaborations with non-profits and other schools in the Touro systemWorks collaboratively with online students to identify, vet and facilitate practicum development placementsManages and maintains existing Practicum agency partnershipsAssists in reviewing and revising Practicum documents such as Practicum Registration Forms, Practicum Manual, Practicum FAQS to reflect current procedures and protocols for online programWhen requested, consults with educational coordinators and Practicum instructors to assess appropriate assignments, review responsibilities, support student learning needs, and provide conflict resolution and resources as neededHolds Practicum Liaison meetings and training sessions as needed and reports back to Online Program Director and Director of Practicum Development Office.Administers the affiliation process for the prospective Practicum agencies and field instructorsServes on internal and external committees as neededProvides resources for LiaisonsKeep up with curricula changes and convert modifications into the online environment.Troubleshoot issues raised by liaisons and or students pertaining to practicum development.Any issues that require additional support or intervention pertaining to practicum development placements and or liaison issues will be elevated to Director of Practicum Development and Director of Online Program to be discussed at committee.Teach two courses per semesterAdditional program duties as assigned by Online Program Director.Schedules and staffs Practicum Information sessions for students preparing to enroll in the Practicum SequenceParticipate in practicum development orientation for students beginning practicum. Master of Social Work Degree5+ years of experience as both a Practicum Instructor and Practicum Liaison and 3 years experience in online education.Travel
Position includes limited travel.Position can either be in person or remote. Maximum Salary USD $91,800.00/Yr. Minimum Salary USD $73,440.00/Yr.
