The position is responsible for selling, administration, and market planning, communications, and inventory management. Sales personnel development and training are also components of this position.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Administrative:
3% Identify sources of group business to the hotel and establish solicitation programs to maximize group sales3% Participate in development of marketing plan and budget3% Assist with forecasting for 30/60/90 day reports3% Provide guidance to new and current sales staff, as requested by the Director of Sales/Marketing3% Properly maintain files and accounts4% In the absence of the Director of Marketing and Director of Sales, ADOS is responsible for the sales office operationsSelling:
6% Develop and maintain national account base that produce significant revenue6% Implement sales action plan which includes telephone/direct mail solicitation, personal call program, related sales trips, trade show participation and entertainment6% Respond promptly to all inquiries and correspondence from customers, prospects and lead referrals6% Respect guideline of confidentiality and code of ethics in all company areas. Represent Loews Hotels in a professional manner at all times3% Respond promptly to requests by Director of Sales and Director of Marketing for reports and other assignments3% Execute sales trips to geographic markets assigned per year3% Achieve sales room night and revenue goals as specified in the goal setting process3% Develop working relationship with hotel department heads and operational areas3% Represent Loews Hotels in a professional manner at industry trade shows and meetings, as outlined in the marketing plan3% Follow up promptly on all assigned leads3% Be a primary liaison to the Loews National Sales Offices, third party meeting planners and Convention Bureau staffSupportive Functions and Responsibilities

Excellent communication skills – oral and writtenExcellent networking, negotiation and presentation skills requiredMust be a skilled leader, have strong organizational skills, and have thorough knowledge and understanding of hotel operationsEducation:
College degree preferredExperience:
Minimum 10 years hospitality sales experience
