What You'll Do:

Develop and implement annual strategic plans for the sub-categoryPlan and complete sourcing strategies and leverage Chewy’s buying power across area of responsibilityIdentify and realize cost savings and reduction opportunitiesMeet regularly with internal collaborators to align procurement strategies and cost savings opportunitiesBuild relationships with internal business partners, vendors, and key suppliersLead end-to-end negotiations with suppliers, including contracting and contract managementManage Tier 1 suppliers in collaboration with business partnersKeep abreast of industry market trends and standard processesDrive continuous improvement opportunities

What You'll Need:

BA or BS required; MBA preferred. Procurement certifications are a plus (e.g., CSPM, APP, ISM, IPMM or MCIPS)8+ years’ experience in strategic sourcing and developing category strategiesExpertise in managing Corporate Services categories along with experience negotiating technology contracts within the categories as applicableAbility to work with cross-functional business partnersOutstanding organizational and project management skillsExceptional verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external customersIntermediate to Advanced level Microsoft Office proficiency, excellent excel skillsStrong Analytical skills and detail orientationDemonstrated ability to deliver measurable and improved results against the organization's key performance indicatorsElevated level of customer focus and an ability to adapt to a constantly evolving environmentUp to 15% travel may be required
