Transaction Manager - Disposals Lead
Job Level: Associate
Location: London
Cushman & Wakefield are looking for a Transaction Manager to lead the disposals programme for one of our major UK retail banking client. The role will see you oversee the strategic planning and execution of a high volume of disposals, managing and coordinating the Cushman & Wakefield Transaction Disposals team, instructing, and overseeing our 3rd party agency delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define clear goals, targets, and timelines for disposal activities to optimise results for the client & revenue to Cushman & Wakefield.
• Implement best practice process on disposal program, including the Disposals Playbook, disposal strategy selection and auditable decision process for disposal method.
• Oversee the team of Transaction Managers ensuring delivery is in line with the client’s scope of services and industry best practice.
• Lead, support and develop junior Transaction Managers on the more complex, challenging, high value disposals.
• Monitor progress and provide regular reports to Client and Transaction Management lead.
• Work closely with Transaction Management Data Analyst to produce transaction analysis and insights to the client.
• Implement risk mitigation strategies to safeguard against potential liabilities, disputes, or client reputational damage.
• Develop and maintain relationships with our third-party agency network and suppliers.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, or efficiency gains within the disposal programme.
• Maintain performance against KPIs evaluate the effectiveness of strategies and identify areas for improvement.
Knowledge and Experience:
• Real estate background with experience across retail and office sectors.
• Previous experience in agency and a transaction management role is desirable, preferably with large multinational companies.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Expertise in financial analysis, proven knowledge of Excel and Power Point.
• Demonstrable ability to take responsibility complex client instructions.
• Demonstrable ability to take responsibility of a high volumes of client instructions.
• Demonstrable technical competence in areas relevant to the role.
• Good commercial acumen, negotiation skills and understanding of market dynamics.
• Ability to network and build relationships internally and externally.
Qualifications:
• Degree level qualification or similar
• MRICS is preferred
