The JADC2 Experimentation and Demonstration IPT (JEDI) organization, a part of the Connected Battlespace and Emerging Capabilities (CBEC) business has an immediate need for a Value Stream Leader (VSL) in our growing portfolio. This VSL will have profit and loss responsibility for Research and Development programs and key organization programs internally and externally funded. The Product Line Value Stream Leader (VSL) leads the IPT through the life cycle tenets of the Collins Management System for their assigned development, inclusive of pursuit and order capture, design and development for the Department of Defense and other Agencies.
This role focuses on developing and implementing a bridge between S&T / low TRL to high TRL and ultimately a profitable product line. This will involve day to day work with engineering and business development, forming a strong triad to assess market space and customer defined gaps, develop product roadmaps, secure IRAD to fulfill product roadmaps, and ultimately develop market defined minimum viable products (MVPs). Experience with Artificial Intelligence, data science, edge based processing, and scaling a product down from enterprise computing as well as scaling up in a VM or Kubernettes environment will all be of significant value to this role.

What You Will Do
Develops program plans, schedules, and budgets for internally and externally funded programs and manages them to successful completion
Execution responsibilities include cost, schedule, technical performance, risk management and milestone completion for assigned programs
Coordinates with program management, engineering, business development and sales to generate technology roadmaps
Supports strategic planning efforts, contract negotiations, and manages key vendor relationships
Collaborate with other internal Collins Aerospace business units on R&D projects
Leads innovative programs and manages a matrixed team
The successful candidate will also possess excellent oral and written communication skills, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. Experience capturing S&T funding to augment internal investments is beneficial
Have demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple efforts simultaneously
Have demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams
Have demonstrated ability work effectively with team members in remote locations and time zones
Have demonstrated ability to lead and be accountable for Pursuit, Order, & Capture activities as part of growing the business
Have demonstrated the ability to interface with customers (e.g., DARPA, AFRL, NRL, NSA, Prime Contractors, etc.) during program execution
Perform regular EACs and PMRs with an ability to brief senior leadership
Identifies and reacts to program problems and recommends solutions, such as allocation of resources and changing contractual specifications, and assists in resolution development for escalated problems
Supervises the appropriate use of all resources allocated to the program to ensure efficient use of resources
Be able to travel up to 25%
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience
Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret Security Clearance is required prior to start date
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Experience with Systems and Project Management
Experience leading and managing complex product or system developments
Qualifications We Prefer
Active Top Secret or TS/SCI /SAP is preferred
Previous Engineering experience is preferred
Experience with hardware and/or software project planning and execution is preferred

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
