Associate E-Learning Specialist

Position Summary:

The Associate eLearning Specialist will be responsible for creating online content for Globus Medical, both domestically and internationally, for multiple divisions,, including, but not limited to: Spine, Trauma, Total Joints and INR (Imaging, Navigation and Robotics). In this role, you will help train learners throughout the world by reinforcing the principles of adult learning and instructional design provided in an eLearning platform. An eLearning developer always has to keep end-users in mind when creating intuitive layouts, clear instructions and simple presentations.

The Spine Sales Training program trains on three key pillars: clinical knowledge, technical expertise, and sales skills. The training and assessment of the skills needed to achieve these pillars are delivered through various training programs.

Essential Functions:

Develops high-quality eLearning courses in a fast-paced environment targeted to support product launch deadlines

Utilizes principles of instructional design and adult learning concepts

Develops relationships with Subject Matter Experts and Sales Trainers and management (both US and International) to determine current and future training needs

Maintains users, courses, and retention of records within the eLearning Management System

Assesses and evaluate training courses bi-annually to determine their accuracy 

Films and edits videos demonstrating procedural steps, key instrumentation and assembly

Delegates the audio requirements to the Subject Matter Expert responsible for the project

Prepares training materials with the Subject Matter Expert to accurately reflect the Indications per country for the Regulatory review process

Collaborates with the Senior eLearning Designer to align with the current goals and objectives intermittently throughout the project timeline

Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies

Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role

Represents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required in multimedia design, instructional design, or computer programming

Experience in LMS administration preferred

Strong computer skills with the ability to learn new programs

Experience with editing graphics and videos

Familiarity of Adobe Creative Suite editing tools and apps

Strong interpersonal skills

Excellent listening and communication capabilities, both written and verbal

Enthusiasm and a positive mindset

Passion for learning
