Responsibilities Support Foot Locker’s Lace Up strategy by maximizing our investment in the Oracle Retail platform, by finding ways to support both core and edge business opportunities leveraging the Oracle Retail platform and proprietary integrations and extensions where required. Design and develop reliable, scalable, and maintainable RESTful API’s using proven design principles and patterns. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows industry best practices. Maintain and update documentation related to system design, development, and maintenance processes. Gain a deep understanding of business processes and how technology supports various functions. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to peers, contributing to the continuous improvement of coding standards. Work closely with cross-functional teams to align on SaaS, COTS, and legacy on-prem capabilities enablement and integration for the Merchandising domain (product MDM, hierarchies, cost, procurement, inventory, supply chain, sales, etc) and deliver high-quality software solutions. Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Provide input and suggestions to improve internal processes and methodologies. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve skills and the effectiveness of the team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or closely related field, preferred. Minimum of 1 year of related work experience in building back-end systems and applications. Analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify root causes and implement solutions. Experience with SQL relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server or DB2. Experience with programming languages such as Python or Java (JEE technologies, and related frameworks). Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub), CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP, OCI), and DevOps tools. Experience with building integration using Message Queuing systems, Kafka a plus. Benefits The annual base salary range is $65,000 - $90,000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
