Associate Engineer, Product Environmental Compliance Operations
Copeland is a global provider of sustainable climate solutions, creating efficient residential, commercial, and industrial spaces through HVACR technologies. By joining us as an Associate Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring and maintaining the compliance of business unit articles in terms of global laws such as EU REACH, RoHS, Conflict Minerals, Proposition 65, etc.
In this capacity, you will review and cleanse monthly business unit data downloads. You will be answering and supporting the point of contact for any questions about legislation, chemical substance breakdowns, or process- or procedure-related questions. This gives you a very vital role in helping drive growth platforms and supporting operational pillars while striving for long-term value creation.

In this role, you will:
Perform regular meetings with the business unit point of contact to discuss the action registry, compliance status, and targets.Review engineering drawings and material specifications to create a Full Material Declaration that contains the actual breakdown of homogeneous materials and chemical substances.Conduct supplier outreach for material declaration submission.Interpret and verify supplier material declaration submissions before they are loaded into the system.Provide support for the design for compliance (NPD and PPAP) and customer compliance for part prioritization.Attend training, workshops, seminars, and focus group discussions with the team.Who You Are:

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
