We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our diverse team. **Job Responsibilities** Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following. + The primary responsibility of this role is to provide design & engineering standards support with UG-NX, AutoCAD, Document & data management tools. The role involves generation of 3D models & 2D drawings adhering to engineering standards to support Fluid Conveyance Products group, perform final quality check for the drawings created by designers in team, working effectively with cross functional teams & leading process improvement initiatives within team. Develop engineering documentation to support standards, part number and data base through technical writing proficiency. **Background & Skills** 1. Minimum requirements to educational background + Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from reputed institute with minimum first class OR distinction, Formal certification in technical writing would be an advantage. 1. Minimum requirements to working experience. + Candidate must be proficient in UG-NX and Creo with 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience including solid modelling of component & product assembly. Detail drawing of complex products & equipment. + Candidate must have experience of interpreting meaningful technical information referring to industry standards, product validation reports necessary for developing the engineering documentation independently 1. Reports on task status as required. **Key Tasks** **Key Task** + Proficiently prepare component & assembly 3D solid models & detailed drawings in UG-NX tool. + Efficiently manage engineering change management process and execute changes thru Teamcenter or any other PLM system. + Interpret and apply GD&T on engineering drawings + Perform final quality check of drawings & engineering standards created by self & others to ensure documents meet customer requirements as well as meet group specific drafting practices. + Lead and coordinate large design and standards projects independently + Identify & lead process improvement projects across design engineering to improve overall quality and productivity of team. + Support new product development projects by helping engineering team in review of industry standards and evaluate impact on Danfoss product standards. + Support product engineering & application engineering on developing concept design for product configurations independently. + Develop and Maintain Engineering Standards through proficient use oftechnical writingcompetency for Specialty BU products.
