Join us and we can make a difference together. **Key Responsibilities:** + Assist lead Project Engineer with tasks associated with design, documentation and/or programming/graphics of building automation systems (BASs). + Design and program building automation systems, site-specific configuration of control system, and control algorithms. + Adhere to project requirements and company and customer standards of design, programming, and implementation. + Create a clear design document for project teams with technical information. + Document and communicate the building automation system design and revisions. + Develop graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems. + Test programming and interfaces prior to implementation. + Provide technical support to sales representatives to ensure customers’ needs are met. + Identify and communicate project opportunities and risks. + Support functional testing for building systems. + Adherence to safety standards. Exemplifies the Carrier code of ethics. + Other duties as assigned. **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in engineering + Must have a valid and current form of government issued identification **Preferred Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering or construction discipline. + 2+ years of experience in HVAC controls, Building Automation, or related industry. + Basic knowledge of primary functions of building automation system software and associated engineering tools, Automated Logic suites preferred. + Basic knowledge of Automated Logic software, peripherals, add-ons, services, or hardware design. + Understanding and/or experience with IP networks + Understanding and/or experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) & Visio and/or similar software. + Ability to understand written sequences of operations, diagrammatic depictions of systems. + Familiar with third-party communication protocols used in building automation, such as BACnet, Modbus, SNMP, LON, N2, etc. + Able to translate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. + Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade, and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs. _LI-onsite_ _RSRCAR_ **Carrier is An Equal** **Opportunity/Affirmative** **Action Employer.
