Copeland is a global provider of crafting climate solutions, balanced efficient residential, commercial, and industrial spaces through HVACR technologies. By joining us as an Associate Engineer, Technical Service, you will complete a 30-day extensive classroom and on-the-job training conducted by our process experts and leaders. The program will cover functions on HVAC (Heating Ventilation, Air Condition) systems and our main product, the Sensi WiFi Thermostat. After the training program, you will be part of a high-performing, dynamic, and customer-focused Customer Service and Technical Support team.

In this capacity, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your technical proficiency and skills in providing excellent customer service to Copeland customers. This gives you a very vital role in helping drive growth platforms and supporting operational pillars while striving for long-term value creation.

Responsibilities

As an Associate Engineer, Technical Service, you will:

Handle level 1 technical calls.

Assess existing systems and user needs to analyze the accurate course of action.

Improve client references by writing and maintaining documentation.

Maintain a log.

Attend training, workshops, seminars, and focus group discussions with the team.

Work within defined Copeland operational and employee goals by contributing to other projects, if needed.

Who You Are

You are an adaptable person who is skilled at technical analysis and quick to absorb new knowledge. You have strong analytical skills to troubleshoot technical issues and enthusiasm for solving issues. You are a proactive self-starter who takes ownership of tasks within your scope of support. You can proficiently communicate ideas, collaborate, and efficiently work with people across any level.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

College Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in any 4-year course.

1+ years in customer support/help desk environment is a plus.

Flexible work schedule with 40+ hours as business needs dictate.

Ability to work individually or in a team environment.

Meets the required performance levels in Quality Assurance Audits.

Skilled in Microsoft Office Tools.

Ability to communicate effectively.

Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

Willing to work on shifting operations which may include weekends with scheduled days off, to support the assigned business and customers.

Must be able to effectively and independently function while maintaining positive energy.
