BCN plays a critical role in supporting Bain's case teams globally to help with analytics and research across all industries, for corporate cases, client development, private equity diligence or Bain intellectual property. The BCN comprises of Consulting Services, Knowledge Services and Shared Services. 

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH:

This role is based in the Enterprise Technology Center of Excellence (ET CoE), part of Bain’s broader “Data & Technology” umbrella within the BCN. The Enterprise Technology CoE provides specialized support on Tech Strategy, Transformation, and Roadmap projects for Bain clients across industries. The ET CoE team acts as the analytical and delivery arm of Bain’s ET Practice, providing expertise in:

Building and deploying Enterprise Technology diagnosticsDelivering core technology products for consulting teamsWorking directly with clients to support technology transformationsIntegrating new and emerging technologies such as AI and automation into diagnostics

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Work closely with team leads to build and deploy ET diagnostic tools and contribute actively to IP development Quick ramp up ability. Identify and employ relevant research sources and analytical toolsEnsure timely, high quality, zero-defect research, analysis and output produced by the analystsUnderstand client needs and situations and adapt to case expectationsGenerate and screen realistic answers based on sound reality checks and recommend actionable solutionsLearn how to make businesses more valuable and responsible for generating specific industry or company insights, to support global Bain case teams, client development teams and industry practicesTake responsibility for assigned work streams and generate hypotheses. Effectively understand the work plan and execute it (includes industry research, preparing presentations, data analysis and other initiatives)Identify and apply the relevant analytical tools for own work stream. Ensure zero-defect analysis in own work stream ensuring key questions are answered in a timely mannerUnderstand client needs and situations and adapt to case expectationsCommunicate data, knowledge and insight to the entire team. Generate and screen realistic solutions based on sound reality checks and recommend actionable solutionsDeliver clear and professional presentations to the team/team leaders/managersConsistently seek and provide meaningful and actionable feedback in all interactions; recognize different skills and development needs in oneself and work towards it

 

ABOUT YOU:

Candidates should be graduates / post-graduates with strong academic recordWork experience range in case highest qualification is undergraduate studies – 2-5 years of relevant experience in a professional services contextWork experience range in case highest qualification is postgraduate studies – 0-3 years of relevant experience in a professional services contextExperience in digital transformation, technology cost optimization, ERP health checks, Architecture/ tech stack assessment, and process optimizationHands-on experience with tools such as Signavio, Celonis, Monday.com, Github, Advanced GenAI is a plusStrong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills, Alteryx and Tableau & languages such as python, SQL is required Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
