Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

$51,000 - $74,800

Scope/Objective

Ensure and facilitate the implementation of the different Environmental Programs, Permits and Plans.  Oversee that the company complies with local and federal environmental regulations.  Provide technical support to the site in environmental programs such as Air Permits, Department of Transportation(DOT) /Hazardous Materials, Refrigerants, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) - hazardous and non-hazardous waste, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), Puerto Rico Aqueducts and Sewers Authority (PRASA) permits, Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC), Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), Title V and Air Construction Permits, etc.   Prepare assigned environmental reports for the different programs.  Perform second person verification for environmental calculations and assigned environmental reports.  Be the subject matter expert for assigned environmental programs.

BS/MS in Chemical or Environmental Engineering

Professional Engineer preferred

Experience – minimum 2 year
