We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** Parsons is now hiring for an **Associate Environmental Engineer** to join our Bridgewater, New Jersey team! **What You'll Be Doing:** + Performs engineering tasks and associated calculations to work efficiently and accurately under the supervision of a Senior Engineer. + Regularly interfaces with the Environmental and other Engineering disciplines and departments. + Communicates between Environmental and Engineering disciplines. + Provides support for other engineering activities as required. + Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, data sheets, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing CAD and other design software as applicable. + Extracts engineering information from CAD drawings. Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs. + Participates in field activities which may include soil, groundwater and water investigations. + Assists with the preparation of sampling plans and remediation phase work plans and reports (i.e., preliminary assessments, site investigations, remedial action work plans, and remedial action reports). + Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate. ​ **What Skills & Qualifications You'll Bring:** + 1+ years of related work experience + Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering (or closely related field) from an accredited institution. + Some related work experience and/or internships preferred. + Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate is preferred. + Requires basic process engineering knowledge, as well as a working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering. + Ability to professionally and effectively communicate both orally and in writing. **Minimum Clearance Required to Start:** Not Applicable/None This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.
