Job Description:

Parsons is now hiring for an Associate Environmental Engineer to join our Bridgewater, New Jersey team!

What You'll Be Doing:

Performs engineering tasks and associated calculations to work efficiently and accurately under the supervision of a Senior Engineer.

Regularly interfaces with the Environmental and other Engineering disciplines and departments.

Communicates between Environmental and Engineering disciplines.

Provides support for other engineering activities as required.

Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, data sheets, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing CAD and other design software as applicable.

Extracts engineering information from CAD drawings. Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.

Participates in field activities which may include soil, groundwater and water investigations.

Assists with the preparation of sampling plans and remediation phase work plans and reports (i.e., preliminary assessments, site investigations, remedial action work plans, and remedial action reports).

Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Skills & Qualifications You'll Bring:

1+ years of related work experience

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering (or closely related field) from an accredited institution.

Some related work experience and/or internships preferred.

Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate is preferred.

Requires basic process engineering knowledge, as well as a working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.

Ability to professionally and effectively communicate both orally and in writing.

Salary Range: 

$25.34 - $44.33
