Associate Equipment Specialist – Civil
SUMMARY
Mortenson is currently seeking an Associate Equipment Specialist - Civil. This specialist will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Equipment Solutions organization. This position plays an integral role in managing a wide range of processes on behalf of the Project teams, Equipment Facility Teams, Buyers, and ESM HQ Leadership
Location: Onsite 5 days/week in Minneapolis, MN
RESPONSIBILITIES
Follow established procedures in relation to receiving and processing equipment facility orders and returns from the fieldSource equipment internally and through 3rd party rental and service suppliersGenerate purchase orders for equipment purchases and rentalsReconcile and process the billing of contracts, invoices, and work orders dailySupport electronic Inventory ManagementSupport physical Inventory Management on project sites or within equipment facilitiesUpdate and change, as needed, Task Code and Off-Rent date with input from project teams (customers)Responsible for Inventory Management reporting to teams, which includes scheduled and on-demandreporting; includes review and quality control of reportsReconciliation of fleet invoicing with accounting, fleet vendors and project teamsProvide equipment solutions and issue resolution for project teams, including recommendations for type
and maintenance of equipmentEffectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
QUALIFICATIONS
One year of rental or educational experience preferred Experience with billing software preferredIntermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Attention to detail and accuracyEffective written and verbal communication skillsPositive, professional attitude with strong customer service skillsAbility to multitaskPlanning and organizational skillsActive listening skills and effective communication

The base pay range for this role is $59,300 - $80,000. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson’s incentive plan.
