You will be responsible for managing plant personnel to maximize quality and outputs in a manufacturing operation in a safe work environment. The facilitator will also be accountable for aligning all respective departments to achieve business goals. This role has increased responsibility including, but not limited to, additional skills, multiple lines/products, diverse teams, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervises the daily operations of several manufacturing departments to ensure the implementation of the manufacturing strategic goals by maximizing productivity through the optimal use of equipment and personnel, (Minimum equipment utilization target of 80%).Responsibilities include: planning and directing manufacturing and maintenance functions, supervising and developing individuals and teams to achieve expected performance standards and initiating changes for improved products and processes.Develop and support initiatives to meet quality standards in manufacturing and improve in process quality.Direct and support processes to ensure production schedules are met. (Key metrics: Line Item Fill Rate (LIFR), schedule adherence and cycle time.Interprets administrative policies for associates, reviews associates performance and makes decisions regarding personnel actions. Ensure correct policies and guidelines are followed to maintain compliance with all regulatory and corporate policies (Health, Safety, and Environmental Standards, etc.)Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.Utilize resources to ensure equipment is maintained in good working order.

Qualifications

Education: Minimum of an Associates degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Experience and Skills:

Required:

Relevant professional work experienceExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with a focus on outstanding leadership ability.Position requires proven leadership skills in associate involvement and teamwork, initiative, creativity, assertiveness, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure achieving consistently high results in quality, efficiency and compliance through individual and team efforts.Statistical and analytical problem solving skills.Basic or advanced computer and database management skills

Preferred:

Experience as a supervisor in a manufacturing environment Experience in the operation of equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Other:

Shift schedule: 3rd 12 hour shifts. Overtime work may be required to support manufacturing equipment schedules.May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sites.You will be responsible for 20 direct reports
