As a Associate Finance Business Partner, you will be assisting the Finance Business partner to support the Head of the Manila hub and FSL Accounting and Finance to steer the company’s strategic direction, business operation and transformation initiatives. You are responsible to support for providing financial decision support on operational and strategic topics, to ensure full cost transparency and entrepreneurial decision taking and manage the forecasting/planning process for the hub.

 

You are also responsible to assist Finance Business Partner for business scenario planning, cost savings potentials identification based on best practice and preparing relevant ad-hoc analyses as well as management presentations. You will also need to work closely with the accounting operation to ensure sufficient financial booking and provisions are in place to ensure the “financial statements” are diligently provided supported by sufficient analysis to explain the insight.

 

Reporting to this role will be the company’s controlling business partner team within the Group Controlling organization while the Controlling services team will be supporting relevant financial performance and management reporting and analysis.

 

Close interaction and cooperation with the Head of the Manila hub and Head of FSL Accounting and Finance, its leadership team and other group functions, controlling/Finance teams are key.

 

You will consult our company managers in financial topics. With your analytical skills, you have proven that you can solve complex issues constructively in quality and time. Sound controlling and accounting expertise as well as team spirit are essential to provide value-adding business partnering. Specific Business Service Center Controlling experience and an understanding of the dynamics impacting decisions in Business Services would be ideal.

 

Who you are:

 

University Degree in accounting, financial management and/or business administration. MBA and/or CFA and/or CPA is preferred.>5 years financial business partnering and financial planning & analysis experience in an international company is required, experience in SAP and knowledge in reporting tools such as Power BI and Tableau, and other planning tools such as SAC would be an advantageExperience in Global Business Services and/or shared services operation is an advantageProven ability to challenge Business Partners while maintaining good interpersonal skill with diverse communication style would be an advantage.Ability to initiate, lead and deliver change in implementing process improvements and cost savings initiatives.Working aboard experience is an advantage to understand different cultureAbility to manage both big picture view and high level of detail.Capable of collecting, assimilating, and synthesizing relevant business/function information and data to develop fact-based recommendations and support business decision making.Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix environment, and capable of gaining commitment and coordinated action for initiatives. Good influential leadership is needed.Strong track record in leading, developing, and motivating individuals and an organization
